In May the Therapeutic Goods Administration fined the Australian chapter of the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing more than $150,000 for selling and promoting the solution containing sodium chlorite, a chemical used as a textile bleaching agent and disinfectant. The product is named Miracle Mineral Supplement and Miracle Mineral Solution on the church’s MMS Australia website, which claimed it could prevent and treat a range of diseases including Covid-19. The TGA said the company had breached multiple advertising laws.

एएफआई की 2012 में मान्यता रद्द हुई थी
आर्चरी फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एएफआई) का चुनाव कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद इस साल जनवरी में हुआ था। इससे पहले खेल मंत्रालय ने 2012 में स्पोर्ट्स कोड का पालन नहीं करने के कारण एएफआई की मान्यता रद्द कर दी थी। जबकि वर्ल्ड आर्चरी फेडरेशन (डब्ल्यूएएफ) ने 5 अगस्त 2019 को फेडरेशन पर प्रतिबंध लगाया था। तब से ही भारतीय खिलाड़ी सभी टूर्नामेंट में डब्ल्यूएएफ के झंडे तले हिस्सा ले रहे थे।
इसी साल जनवरी में हुए थे चुनाव
जनवरी में कोर्ट की ओर से दी गई गाइडलाइन के अनुसार खेल मंत्रालय, डब्ल्यूएएफ और एएफआई की निगरानी में चुनाव हुए थे। इसके बाद डब्ल्यूएएफ ने एएफआई पर से सशर्त प्रतिबंध हटा दिया था। लेकिन खेल मंत्रालय के पास कोर्ट की तरफ से चुनाव से जुड़े दस्तावेज नहीं पहुंचे। इसलिए खेल मंत्रालय ने अब तक फेडरेशन की मान्यता बहाल नहीं की है।

टोक्यो के लिए क्वालिफाई कर चुके हैं अतनु
इंटरनेशनल आर्चर अतनु दास ने अर्जुन अवॉर्ड के लिए आवेदन किया है। उन्होंने भास्कर को बताया कि मेरे नाम की सिफारिशपिछले साल मेजर ध्यानचंद अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित कोच सी. लालरेमसांगा कर रहे हैं। फेडरेशन को मान्यता नहीं मिली है। इसलिए उन्हें और दूसरे तीरंदाजों को व्यक्तिगत रूप से राज्य संघों और राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार हासिल कर चुके कोच और अपने मूल विभाग से नाम भिजवाना पड़ा रह है। जबकि आम तौर पर यह काम फेडरेशन का होता है। वही खिलाड़ीका नाम खेल मंत्रालय को भेजती है।

अर्जुन अवॉर्ड के लिए अप्लाई करने की आखिरी तारीख 3 जून है। इस बार खिलाड़ियों को ऑनलाइन आवेदन भेजना है। यह सम्मान सभी खिलाड़ियों को उनके पिछले 4 साल के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर दिया जाता है।
इस मामले परआर्चरीफेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया के सेक्रेटरी प्रमोद चांदुलकर ने बताया कि अभी फेडरेशन को खेल मंत्रालय से मान्यता नहीं मिली है। इसलिए हम अर्जुन अवॉर्ड के लिए किसी भी प्लेयर का नाम नहीं भेज सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जनवरी में कोर्ट के आदेश पर चुनाव हुए थे। लेकिन लॉकडाउन के कारण कोर्ट के आदेश से जुड़े दस्तावेजमंत्रालय में नहीं पहुंचे हैं। इस कारण मान्यता नहीं मिली है। प्रक्रिया चल रही है। जल्द ही मान्यता मिल जाएगी।

इसके बाद दूसरी बार भारत ऑस्ट्रेलिया दौरे पर जाएगी और 3 दिसंबर से 4 मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज शुरू होगी। इस दौरान भारतीय टीम विदेश में अपना पहला डे-नाइट टेस्ट 11 दिसंबर को एडिलेड में खेलेगी। तीसरा टेस्ट 26 दिसंबर और चौथा मैच 3 जनवरी को होगा। इसके बाद 12, 15 और 17 जनवरी को दोनों टीमों के बीच 3 वनडे भी खेले जाने हैं।
अक्टूबर-नवंबर में हो सकता है आईपीएल
कोरोना के कारण आईपीएल को अनिश्चितकाल के लिए टाल दिया गया है। बीसीसीआई इस लीग को टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप की जगह अक्टूबर-नवंबर में कराने की तैयारी कर रहा है। 10 जून को आईसीसी वर्ल्ड कप पर अंतिम निर्णय ले सकता है।

Horseshoe crabs’ icy-blue blood will remain the drug industry’s standard for safety tests after a powerful US group ditched a plan to give equal status to a synthetic substitute pushed by Swiss biotech Lonza and animal welfare groups.
The crabs’ copper-rich blood clots in the presence of bacterial endotoxins and has long been used in tests to detect contamination in shots and infusions.

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली ने 30 हजार शिक्षार्थियों को सफलता के टिप्स दिए। उन्होंने अनअकादमी एप पर ऑनलाइन लेक्चर में कहा कि कोरोनावायरस ने पूरी दुनिया को हिलाकर रख दिया। इसकी वैक्सीन बनने के बाद आम जिंदगी और क्रिकेट दोनों सामान्य स्थिति में आ जाएंगे।
गांगुली ने कहा, ‘‘कोरोना के कारण कई प्रोग्राम में बदलाव जरूर होंगे, लेकिन बीसीसीआई और आईसीसी समेत पूरी दुनिया भी क्रिकेट को सामान्य स्थिति में देखना चाहती है।’’
वैक्सीन ही सामान्य जीवन वापस लाएगी
गांगुली ने कहा, ‘‘हमारे पास इसके (कोरोना) लिए वैक्सीन नहीं है, लेकिन मुझे लगता है कि वैक्सीन जरूर आएगी। उसके 6-7 महीने बाद हर चीज सामान्य हो जाएगी। मुझे लगता है कि क्रिकेट भी तभी सामान्य स्थिति में आ पाएगा। हमारे अंदर गजब की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता है।’’
खिलाड़ियों को टेस्ट से गुजरना होगा
उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘खिलाड़ियों के लिए अलग-अलग तरह के टेस्ट और मेडिकल जांच होंगी। मैं इसे खेल के बीच में आते हुए नहीं देखता हूं। जब वैक्सीन आ जाएगी तो यह जिंदगी सामान्य होगी, जैसे की आप बीमार होते हो तो दवाई ले लेते हो और ठीक हो जाते हो। कोरोना की स्थिति भी कुछ ऐसी ही रहेगी।’’
‘सफलता के लिए खुद पर विश्वास करें’
गांगुली ने 30 हजार शिक्षार्थियों को प्रेरित करने के लिए उनके साथ अपने अनुभवों को शेयर किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हर एक में अलग तरह की क्षमता होती है। आप राहुल द्रविड़ को युवराज सिंह की तरह नहीं बना सकते और न ही युवराज को द्रविड़ बना सकते हो। आपको सफलता के लिए खुद पर विश्वास करना होगा और लोगों से यह उम्मीद न करें कि आप उनसे कैसा व्यवहार करना चाहते हैं। दूसरों को वही रहने दें, जो वे हैं।
विराट कोहली ने कहा कि उन्हें भारतीय टीम की कप्तानी दिलाने में महेंद्र सिंह धोनी की बड़ी भूमिका रही है। धोनी की कप्तानी में इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट करियर की शुरुआत करने वाले कोहली ने कहा कि उन्हें यह जिम्मेदारी अचानक नहीं मिली है। धोनी ने उन पर जो भरोसा जताया है, वह काफी अहम है।

‘अपने आइडिया धोनी से शेयर करता था’
कोहली ने कहा, ‘‘जिस दिन मैं टीम में आया, तभी से बहुत कुछ सीखना चाहता था। मैं चारों तरफ खेल से घिरा रहता था। मैं कई सारे आइडिया धोनी के साथ शेयर करता था। कई बार वे मना कर देते थे, लेकिन जो आइडिया उनको पसंद आता, उस पर वे चर्चा भी करते थे। वे हमेशा मुझे समझने की कोशिश करते थे। मैं हमेशा उनसे सीखता था। मेरी जिज्ञासा के कारण ही शायद उनमें यह विश्वास आया कि टीम का अगला कप्तान मैं हो सकता हूं।’’
‘सचिन के साथ बल्लेबाजी करना यादगार पल रहा’
कोहली ने ढाका में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ खेली 183 रन की पारी को भी याद किया। उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘उनकी (पाकिस्तान) गेंदबाजी आक्रामण काफी दमदार था। साथ ही उनके पास शाहिद अफरीदी, सईद अजमल, उमर गुल, एजाज चीमा और मोहम्मद हफीज भी थे। मुझे याद है कि मैं पाजी (सचिन तेंदुलकर) के साथ बल्लेबाजी करने से खुश था। उन्होंने 50 रन बनाए और हमने 100 रन से ज्यादा की साझेदारी की। यह मेरे लिए यादगार पल रहा। यह पारी मेरे लिए गेम-चेंजर साबित हुई।’’

भारतीय क्रिकेट को आईसीसी के साथ ही सरकार की गाइडलाइंस पर भी चलना है। जिस मामले में आईपीएल वर्ल्ड कप से आगे है, वो है टीवी राइट्स। आईपीएल के टीवी राइट्स की वैल्यू आईसीसी टूर्नामेंट से काफी ज्यादा है। दर्शकों के बिना भी आईपीएल बेहद आकर्षक हो सकता है। इन सब आंकड़ों से साफ है कि फाइनेंशियल तौर पर आईपीएल को रद्द करने से बेहतर टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप स्थगित करना है।
आईसीसी के फ्यूचर टूर प्रोग्राम देखें तो 2022 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप का आयोजन भी मिल जाएगा। हालांकि अभी ये सभी काल्पनिक बातें ही हैं। आईसीसी काफी समय से रुके खेल को कैसे आगे बढ़ाना चाहती है, इस पर फैसला आईसीसी की 10 जून को होने वाली बैठक में होगा।
